Hotel accommodations policies are included in our Agreements, which are required to be completed for your hotel room to be booked.
Please note that your Credit Card will be authorized for $1 to confirm the validity of the card. Your card will not be charged, except in the case of cancellation after September 4, 2024 (the hotel's cancellation window for our group), a no-show, or failure to comply with the conditions set forth in the Media/Speaker Agreement.
Booking: The room will be booked under your name, ensuring your accommodation during the event. While the hotel will try to accommodate bed type and other requests, these will be based upon availability and are not guaranteed.
Hotel Nights: Multiple-night stays will only be approved with participation in the expo both days. If you attend one day, you will be authorized for one hotel night. Should you wish to extend your stay beyond the allocated hotel night(s), you will be responsible for any associated charges. Please note, additional night requests will be based upon hotel availability.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy: In case of hotel cancellation after September 4, 2024 (the hotel’s cancellation window for our group) or a “no-show,” the Speaker will be charged $250 per night to the credit card on file.
Location: The hotel we have booked is the 21C Museum Hotel Chicago, located at 55 E Ontario St, Chicago, IL 60611. Bookings at this hotel are subject to 21C Museum Hotel Chicago’s policies.
Please note the following important conditions set forth by the 21C Museum Hotel Chicago:
1. Vinitaly USA will take care of room and tax for each guest’s approved room night(s). Guests are responsible for their own incidental charges and will need to provide a credit card during the check-in process.
2. There is a $100 incidental authorization per night, with $300 being the max authorization.
